The Traffic Management Section is responsible for implementing speed limits, waiting restrictions, parking and traffic studies within the Towns of the County. They also prepare and introduce traffic calming schemes where criteria are met.

A number of national driving courses are co-coordinated within the Traffic Section and Road Safety Unit, namely the Driver Improvement Scheme and Pass Plus Cymru.
